Recently, FreeandUseful.com has received a couple complaints regarding phone bill charges. The latest of these complaints included a little more information into the matter...

"I received charges on my phone bill from this site per BEN at ESBI for 12.95 a month... business called My Info Guard ..that I have never applied for and he said it originated at the site??
Pretty bad since I never applied for or received the service."

After doing some investigating, it appears that this ESBI / My Info Guard is reported to be a scam.

For the record...
Freeanduseful is NOT AT ALL affiliated with My Info Guard or ESBI. There is no link on this site to them, so I don't see how they can say it could have "originated" from freeanduseful.com.
